 Pegasus Life secured planning permission through public inquiry for a Sarah Wigglesworth Architects scheme for a C2 assisted living community at The Knowle, Sidmouth, Devon. The Design Review Panel (www.designreviewpanel.co.uk) were instructed by East Devon District Council (EDDC) to provide multidisciplinary, expert, independent and impartial guidance and feedback to the local authority, applicant and design team during the pre-application design stage. |

Rebecca Thurgood
Chartered Architect
Rebecca is a Chartered Architect with over 20 years experience working for a design-led practice in
London; 15 of these as an Associate. She has more recently relocated to Devon to take up the role of Associate Director at LHC Design, based in the Exeter Studio.
The quality of her work has been commended in awards ranging from the Housing Design Awards, LABC Awards and a RICS Special Award for Excellence in Design.
Rebecca has been responsible for the successful design and delivery of numerous residential and mixed-use projects for public and private sector clients such as Peabody, Notting Hill Genesis and Ballymore. The greater part of her experience being in the design and delivery of affordable housing, working with community-based and vulnerable groups and finding ways through thorny issues using collaboration and negotiation.
She has substantial technical knowledge and a considered collaborative approach which means she is able to navigate constraints, planning policy, engagement with interest groups and stakeholders to deliver noteworthy built projects.
