The Design Review Panel (www.designreviewpanel.co.uk) were instructed by East Devon District Council (EDDC) to provide multidisciplinary, expert, independent and impartial guidance and feedback to the local authority, applicant and design team during the pre-application design stage.

Eleanor Trenfield, is highly experienced and brings a wealth of expertise across a wide range of developments including residential, commercial, heritage, restoration and preservation projects in both rural and urban environments. Eleanor set up ETLA in 2017, after working at practices including Barton Willmore.

Our projects range from individual buildings to large developments to major regeneration schemes. Our portfolio of works undertaken cover an extensive area including Essex, Surrey, Kent, Cambridgeshire and the London area.

Eleanor studied Architecture (BA) at the University of the Creative Arts, and Landscape Architecture (MA) at the University of Greenwich. Eleanor has experience as an Expert Witness, is a contributor to the Landscape Institute work on Green Belt, has led the Editorial Advisory Panel for the Landscape Journal and runs landscape workshops at the University of the Creative Arts.
