Pegasus Life secured planning permission through public inquiry for a Sarah Wigglesworth Architects scheme for a C2 assisted living community at The Knowle, Sidmouth, Devon. The Design Review Panel (www.designreviewpanel.co.uk) were instructed by East Devon District Council (EDDC) to provide multidisciplinary, expert, independent and impartial guidance and feedback to the local authority, applicant and design team during the pre-application design stage.

Katie Jones

Senior Ecologist

Senior Ecologist at Blackdown Environmental, based on the border of Devon and Somerset in the Southwest of England. Katie is an experienced ecological consultant providing a range of ecological services including habitat and protected species surveys to inform baseline ecological surveys and protected species licences. Katie is licensed to survey for bats, barn owls and great crested newts. She is particularly interested in advising clients on ecological management and biodiversity enhancement. Blackdown Environmental provide services to the public, private and charitable sectors and Katie has worked on a wide variety of project types including residential, commercial, utilities and renewable energy developments. Katie is on the board of trustees for Holyford Woods Local Nature Reserve, near Seaton and provides ecological advice on improving the woodland for wildlife and the local community.
