Extra Care Development by Sarah Wigglesworth Architects

Pegasus Life secured planning permission through public inquiry for a Sarah Wigglesworth Architects scheme for a C2 assisted living community at The Knowle, Sidmouth, Devon. The Design Review Panel (www.designreviewpanel.co.uk) were instructed by East Devon District Council (EDDC) to provide multidisciplinary, expert, independent and impartial guidance and feedback to the local authority, applicant and design team during the pre-application design stage.

William Liu

Chartered Architect

William Liu is a RIBA Chartered Architect, founder of William Kai Liu Studio and is currently based in London.
He was born and raised in a small town in county Worcestershire. While at school, he garnered an interest in fine art and history and decided to pursue this interest further, which led him to obtaining his B.A. in Architecture from Leeds Beckett University and his Masters and Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from the University of Westminster.
During his formative years, William embarked on an inspirational journey to the Far East, working in one of the most densely populated areas of the world that is Hong Kong. He worked on urban renewal projects, large-scale housing estates and commercial developments. Having spent time working in the United States, he became engaged by the American cultural and diversity of the public realm.
Travelling is one of his key aspirations for his work leading him to travel around the Americas, to the middle east and the great barrier reefs of Australia to source inspiration. He records and documents what he has seen, heard and experienced that will serve as an insight for his work in the future.
William believes in giving back to the community and does this by carrying out a number of volunteering roles, one such is being a mentor for the Prince's Trust by mentoring vulnerable young people in guiding them to a better path in life and also being a school governor in his local community.
Prior to this William once served in the British army and understands the importance of everyone pulling in the same direction in order to achieve one's objective.
Having worked for a number of Architectural practices and contractors throughout his time, William has been enthralled with the modern dogma and society; incorporating sustainable, practicable and innovative ideas to accommodate for the modern person.
William is concurrently working for an international contractor and has his own studio offering his services in Architectural design, aiming to make his mark in this area.
