Urban Design & Architecture

15 years of work experience in the built environment both in the public and private sector. Currently working with Brent Council as a Regeneration Master planner, leading the regeneration agenda for Neasden Station Growth Area. Also, a member of Design Review Panel at Southwark Council. Previously worked with AECOM and ATKINS as a Part 2 Architect/ Senior Urban Designer for 12 years leading and delivering several projects for the public sector.

My wide range of expertise across the built environment and understanding the intricacies of the urban fabric has enabled me to understand and develop vision and strategy to shape towns and cities that can adapt to the challenges of the future. My expertise lies in looking at things from varied perspectives and working collaboratively to realise the vision for the place. I want to enact an ambition to nurture change while having the vision and design integrity to create places that foster a 'sense of place' and bring communities together. I am driven by a passion and commitment towards improving communities through exploration and delivery of unique, stimulating environments and the integration of strong placemaking standards. I believe people live in communities and neighbourhoods, streets and landscapes, villages, towns and cities and not merely in homes. So, everyone involved in delivering successful cities and places needs to start with the ambition to create great neighbourhoods and communities, full of identity and vibrancy. The onus lies with us as place-makers to facilitate better places and communities through integrating innovation with sustainability to deliver places that adapt to the future.

I have a broad spectrum of project experience within the built environment sector, from residential mixed-used urban development, infrastructure-led urban extension and growth areas, infill sites, Industrial intensification and residential co-location, public realm strategy and framework, and Town Centre regeneration.
