Tom Jonson
Chartered Landscape Architect & Urban Designer
I am currently Director of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design at LUC with over 25 years of urban design and master planning experience and with master’s degrees in both urban and landscape
Whilst at LUC I have been urban design lead for the preparation of urban design guidance for a number of local authorities including Warwick District Council (WDC), Eden District Council and more recently South Northamptonshire Council.
Before joining LUC to establish the new Manchester Office, I was Associate Director at AECOM where I have also been responsible for leading on a number of high profile city centre public realm schemes from initial inception and feasibility stage right through to implementation on the ground. For example I led on the design and implementation for the new public realm proposals aimed at transforming 5 streets in the Grey Friars Conservation Area as part of the Leicester Townscape Heritage Initiative Project.
