Grant joined Le Page Architects in 2022 and is a Conservation Architect skilled in managing projects from feasibility through to completion. He has particular experience in refurbishment, conservation work and listed buildings, expertise which has seen him admitted to the RIBA Conservation Register. Grant is also registered with the Diocese of Exeter, Diocese of Bath & Wells, Diocese of Truro and Diocese of Truro as an Inspector Approved to carry out Quinquennial Inspections on churches. Recent ecclesiastical projects include repair work at Grade 1 listed St Peter & St Paul, Ermington.
He has twice been on sabbatical with Turquoise Mountain Foundation in Afghanistan, working to restore the ancient artisan centre of Kabul (Award of Distinction, 2013 UNESCO Asia – Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage). He was also responsible for the award winning hospice for Grade 2 listed Children’s Hospice South West at Charlton Farm near Bristol, and the Grade 2 listed Donkey Sanctuary in the East Devon AONB. Grant has a keen interest in building conservation and is an active member of a number of building conservation groups, including The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, Churches Conservation Trust and the Ecclesiological Society.
